Our company Cara Ambulance Service Ltd. is leading the field in the provision of specialist patient transfer services. As an Irish owned and managed company, we are committed to providing the highest quality ambulance transport services. We offer a wide range of fully equipped, state of the art vehicles, staffed by highly trained EMTs and paramedics. Our crews comprise of EMTs and paramedics trained to the highest national standards, in accordance with the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council standards. All our crews are continually evaluated and up-skilled through our own training facility. In line with the current HSE guidelines all our crew are vetted by An Garda Siochana.

Mission Statement
Cara Ambulance Service Ltd provides pre hospital emeregncy care, a patient interfacility transfer service and community events support within the Connacht, Munster, Leinster and Ulster regions. We provide these services to both public and private patients without prejudice to Age, Sex, Gender, Race or Beliefs. All our staff are fully trained and registered with the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council. Cara Ambulance Service aspires to be a clinically led, high-performance ambulance service providing high-quality pre-hospital and inter-hospital facility transport for the people of Ireland. We recognise that each patient has individual needs which comprise of the total person and we have the responsibility to assist patients with their healthcare needs in a compassionate manner. We also participate in community education and workshop events on health promotion and disease prevention.

In 2013 Cara Ambulance Service Ltd achieved an international accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI) for the medical transportation of patients. Cara became the first Irish Ambulance Service Provider to receive this form of accreditation.

The accreditation process evaluated Cara's quality management service and patient care processes. Achieving this international recognition has demonstrated Cara's commitment to high standards and patient care

Cara Ambulance Service are currently seeking paramedics for part-time work in the Cork, Donegal and Galway areas. Paramedics must be registered with the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC).
